Susan G. Komen of Greater Kansas City is hosting its annual Race for the Cure at Union Station once again.  

Diagnostic Imaging Centers is thrilled to be a sponsor. What could be better than getting a little exercise, celebrating life and pursuing the best possible health for all? Such a wonderful thing rivals chocolate.   So… want the details?

6:00 Expo, Late Registration & T-shirt Pick Up open to public –      

6:30 Kids for the Cure opens to the public –      

7:25 National Anthem sung by Chrome from Main Stage –      

7:27 KC Flight Formation Fly Over (Over Grand Street at 5K/1Mile start line) –      

7:30 AM – 5K & 1M Start – BOTH on GRAND –      

8:45 Closing ceremonies begin on Main Stage –      

9:00 Survivor Parade from Survivors Pavilion to Main Stage on Pershing –      

9:15 – #komenselfie – world record attempt –      

9:45 to 10:00 Closing ceremonies conclude!
